I designed this 84mm fpv quadcopter as a trainer to hone my skills. It relies on DYS BE1104 7500kv Brushless Motors, EMAX F3 FEMTO Flight Controller (running BetaFlight software), DYS 2" 5 Blade Propellers - Set of 4 (2x CW, 2x CCW), Lumenier Mini BLHeli_S 10A 4-in-1 OPTO ESC DSHOT, FrSky XM SBUS Micro Receiver without telemetry and FX798T Camera Combo with Dipole Whip Antenna 5.8GHz 37CH 25mW. Most of these components came from GetFPV. I made all connections on the bottom of the flight controller to facilitate quick and easy replacement of the flight controller mounting/prop guard section. I utilized 6mm ss socket head screws for mounting the props and motors. The camera features a bit of single-sided foam tape on top and bottom to help dampen vibrations. The FrSky XM Receiver bracket is mounted to the center of the bottom of the camera bracket with a small drop of super glue. This quad was printed in PLA, and it's holding up well so far. Building this micro requires similar knowledge as a 250mm fpv quad, but finer soldering skills due to its 16X16mm size. It's incredibly tiny. Currently, I'm using a Lumenier 400mah 2S 50C battery and a Tattu 450mah 3S 45C. Both batteries came from GetFPV. The 84mm is like a rocket on the 3S. I've also added an .stl file for the Femto F3 flight controller mount without prop guards for those who don't want them and a heavier duty version of the X frame (v1.1). This has turned into one of my go-to quads! Have fun building it!
