The Larson Electronics GVP-EMG-48-3L-LED offers an LED alternative to fluorescent fixtures, providing longer lamp life and higher performance in 3 LED tube lamp fixtures. The vapor proof light fixture is four feet long, designed for use in indoor-outdoor applications, and produces more output with longer lamp life while being impact/vibration resistant. It has a correlated color temperature of 5,600K and is equipped with three specially designed LED T8-series bulbs that produce 3,500 lumens each. The fixture draws less than 0.5 amps of power and eliminates the need for a ballast box, reducing overall weight and creating a slimmer unit profile. Its solid state design provides superior resistance to damage from vibration, temperature extremes, and boasts a lamp service life over twice that of standard fluorescent bulbs. It also comes with an emergency battery backup unit that runs one bulb at 3,500 lumens for 90 minutes after power is lost before recharging. The fixture can be surface mounted or hung from cable/chain and is suitable for use as general area lighting, shop lighting, work space lighting, garage and warehouse lighting, among others.
