I was impressed by sbeecroft's mortar design below: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3490682 But I decided to take it a step further by adding real fins to the mount. The files you'll find include a new lower section and an adapter, which goes into the lower section with a 1/4-20 thread for secure retention. On the other side of the adapter is a 7/8-20 thread that screws directly into a set of aluminum fins. There are two adapters available - one has integrated support that can be cut away for a sleek look, while the other will require additional support to achieve a smooth finish.
