For my Solidoodle3, I sought a simple method to mount an 80mm fan alongside an E3D hotend. Initially, I used a magnet on a screw and wired the fan directly to a 12V power supply for a makeshift solution. Subsequently, I designed a straightforward holder employing four 8mm magnets and two screws/nuts without glue for easy disassembly. This design also cools one of the motors. To assemble: print the part (no support, 5% infill), sandwich the fan between two pairs of magnets in designated holes, ensuring the magnet-protruding side faces away from the fan. Attached images demonstrate assembly.
