80mm Fan Mount & Cover

I designed a custom fan mount that fits perfectly inside and outside of my enclosure, as nothing on the market seemed suitable. This design allows an 80mm DC fan to be mounted in either direction, providing flexibility and versatility. The fan mount itself requires support, but the fan cover does not, keeping the overall design streamlined. I've included inset holes for M3 nuts, ensuring a secure hold, and it sits flush against a 1/2 inch piece of MDF or plywood without any issues. A #10 screw is used to attach it to the wood. The press-fit fan cover makes it easy to remove the filter quickly, eliminating the need for precise cutting when creating the hole for the fan. This design covers both sides of the enclosure, resulting in a clean and polished look that complements my custom build.
