This setup enables you to install an aftermarket 80mm x 10mm 24v/2pin cooling fan on the Monoprice Maker Ultimate printer extruder. The kit also includes various types of 80mm ducts. The dimensions are designed to accommodate the height of the stock shroud entirely, ensuring that the overall clearance remains exactly the same as before. As a result, the existing screws for the 40mm fan will still work perfectly. However, you'll need your own mounting screws for the 80mm fan, which require properly sized nuts or bolts for secure installation. The kit features a special slot for the spacers that come with the stock cooler fan, making it easier to reattach everything. Simply drop the spacers into the little hole at the top, align them, and screw everything in place. It also includes spacers for the 80mm screws to offset the height of the 40mm screw heads. Additionally, a simpler version is included that omits the 40mm slots and risers, providing more space if needed. To ensure strength and thermal load, print this part solid. However, keep in mind that it will reduce your print area size.
