To enhance cooling during printing, modify the Prusa Mendel endstop by shortening its arm and relocating a hole. This allows for mounting a standard 80mm PC case fan on a lower side threaded rod. Position the fan holder, ensuring it doesn't interfere with Z axis or X carriage ends. Secure the holder and attach the fan to the arm using a nut and bolt. Connect the fan power and activate it after initial layers for optimal performance. Note that using this setup with a heated bed might affect heating plate efficiency.
