80mm Fan Guard
thingiverse
I needed a couple of fan guards for my Witbox 3D Printer, which comes equipped with a Diamond Hotend from RepRap.me. Since they're large case fans, I couldn't find any suitable fan guards online, so I decided to make one myself! To do this, simply print out the guard and a few pins that will hold it in place. Keep in mind that these pins might not work for your specific fan, depending on its design, so you may want to opt for screws instead. If these fan guards don't fit your Witbox 3D Printer perfectly, feel free to take a look at the source code below and make any necessary modifications! How I Designed This I used Onshape to create this design. It was quite straightforward - all I needed to do was measure the holes for the pegs, measure the fan itself, and come up with a guard design that fits perfectly.
