This is just a breakdown (with attachment supports) for henryarnold's Airtight Filament Canister's 80mm Spool Holder http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1332650, which offers a great tool and an excellent alternative to having multiple spools in one container. This method treats spools almost like "cartridges," similar to the old game consoles or cassette tapes. You simply plug and play the filaments as you need them without worrying about moisture leaks or filament damage. This build separates the Holder at a solid location that allows for internal support rods and an external clamp, both of which can be attached using a strong adhesive for a permanent merge while still being able to print the part on a small print bed. Print Settings Printer: MonoPrice Select Mini Rafts: No Supports: Yes (internal) Resolution: .1mm Infill: 50% Notes: This could probably be printed at .2 or higher because of the large bulk and lack of fine detail, but with the internal supports, I chose to leave it at .1mm to ensure the support rods would go in smoothly.
