Major Update: Had To Change Slideways Upon Printing Couldn't Get Screws In Place I Left! Also Cured Support Issue At Same Time Should Print, No Support Now. figured out How to Draw Threads in Sketchup Without Using Any Addons Though the "Skin" Tool Really Does Help at Times. As Title Says, An 80mm 4-Jaw Chuck With an 8mm Center Hole, 13mm Hex (To Suit My Coil Winder) :Updated: Changed Recesses In Chuck Body So As To Print A Bit Better When Upside Down..... Jaws With Grippy Bits. Reduced Shaft Size On Screws By 0.2 For Clearance. Changed Square Drive To 5mm Minutely Changed Body With 0.1 Reduction On Slideways. Should Be Enough Clearance For a Lousy Printer Now ; Ie, Mine... Any Donations/Thanks Via PP (@gmail) More Than Welcome for My Thirty+ Hours of Work... :) Both Jaws And Screws Print As Is And Actually Mesh/Work Quite Well :) Print Settings Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Notes: The Body Is Straightforward With Only One Spot Really Needing Support. Do It Upside Down ;) Or Side On. Whatever. I'm Getting The Screws To Come Out Pretty Good With 40% Support (Only Needs A Tiny Bit Due To Horizontals, Hence The Close Spacing...It Often Misses Altogether With Less Fill) And 0.1/layer. Jaws Are Fine As Is. Chuck Seems To Only Build Support Under Half The Slides With Support Over 40degrees In Cura? ...Rotate 45 On The Z And Use Grid, 40 Or Under... How I Designed This Draw A Thread in Sketchup... Follow Me Makes Really Cool Paths But Doesn't Work. Drawing Half a Circle, Extruding Then Moving One End Sort Of Works, As An Auger, But Not As A Thread or Spiral. I Ended Up Doing It The Hard Way. A Quarter of A 40-Sided Circle, Add 0.1 At Each Intersection, Making For 4mm Pitch. Change Figures To Suit Pitch. Tedious But Works Well. Get Used To Using Copy And Past And Making "Groups".
