8020 Stop Block

8020 Stop Block

thingiverse

This is a sliding stop block for use with 8020 Schedule 10 1030 (1"x3") extrusions. It will be setup on a chop saw, with a measuring tape glued to the top of the extrusion, aligned with the indicator. Printed at 100% infill made it very heavy and solid. At 10% infill it was a little flexible. Use a 1/4-20 x 2.5" bolt to hold on the block arm, and two 1/4-20 bolts or T-Nut studs to hold the device to the extrusion. Designed so one bolt can be snugged down to allow easy sliding (and lock-tighten as needed), while the other is tightened/loosened as needed to move the block. Mirror on the Z axis the foot and the block to reverse the indicator setup. .3mf setups included if you run SuperSlicer on a Prusa MK3s.
