8020 "CUP" Holder
prusaprinters

Ok, so our printers are placed on wire shelves and we use isopropyl alcohol to clean the print beds between each use. We also have a home built printer, made from 8020 series 10 extrusions that has the same need. The isopropyl alcohol is kept in a laboratory squeeze bottle. The bottle is always moving around, because it has no fixed place to be stored. So, after many measurements, three prototypes and one major change to the design, we had created a holder for squeeze bottle. It is printed in two parts so no supports are necessary and has channels for zip ties, for extra support.

My wife looked at and said "Congratulations, you have reinvented the cup holder." Dang if she ain't right. So, ladies and gentlemen, I give you a cup holder for your 8020 series 10 extrusions. It seems to work with cans, bottles, Starbucks venti cups and of course lab squeeze bottles of isopropyl alcohol.

The original design for one inch wire shelves can be found at: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3594646

Print instructions

Unassociated tags: squeeze bottle
Category: 3D Printer Accessories
