Lunar Rocket Inspired by Tintin's Iconic Adventures Created on Solidworks with precision, the design is a direct result of studying the famous comic strip featuring Captain Haddock and his trusty companion. This 800mm model boasts impressive details, accompanied by two smaller counterparts: a 200mm and a 400mm version. Each scale offers unique characteristics, yet they share a common goal - to transport enthusiasts on an epic journey through space. To achieve optimal results without excessive material usage, the thickness of certain components in the 800mm model was carefully adjusted. This thoughtful approach not only conserves resources but also ensures a more realistic representation. By dividing the fuse into multiple sections along its vertical axis, the design allows for a significant increase in scale while maintaining structural integrity. Strategically placed indexing rings facilitate effortless assembly and alignment of the various components. For optimal print quality, all parts - including the white panels - should be printed vertically. The white panels can then be easily inserted and secured within their designated housing using a small amount of glue. A smooth finish is ensured by applying a drop of adhesive to fix them in place. The engine, a crucial component of any rocket, is securely fastened at its base. To add an authentic touch, the antenna from the 400mm model can be enlarged and attached using a 2mm rod. For those who prefer a more precise fit, a drill bit can be used to create a seamless connection between the antenna and the rocket's body.
