80 mm fan holders for the Snapmaker 2 powersupply
thingiverse
These are fan holders for the Powersupply of the Snapmaker 2.0. The little fans are making a lot of noise so i removed them and put a fan in the front and a fan in the back to create an airflow through the powersupply. I inserted 2 80mm fans from bequiet with a fan controller from akasa and when the printer is idle now i dont hear it above the surrounding noise anymore. the back fans are labeled 1 or the improved. the improved should fit better with the screws for fastening the back plate. i myself have the 1 version which is a bit harder to fix into place but it works. The front is a sleeve that fits over the whole front of the psu. I removed the breathing leds and the whiet plate in the front as wel the top cover from the inside psu so the airflow is optimal. The front blows in the back sucks air out. The front is printable without supports with the fan part on the bed the back ones do need support.
