80/20 construction parts
thingiverse
I design my own 80/20 systems at work a lot, so I decided it would be fun to create one myself and have my son help with the project. This is the 1 inch version, but I'm confident that scaling it up in slicing software could easily make it 1.5 inches. The actual 80/20 extrusion bar is 10 inches long, which made me think that the bottom could be cut off using slicing software to any desired length. Every part of this system is designed with 1/4-20 bolts in mind, except for the bearing slide, which is meant to use 3mm bolts to secure it in place when needed. You can either drill the holes yourself or let the bolts do the work for you. My plan is to add more parts as time and new ideas become available.
