I needed a super solid 90 degree connection between two 8mm rods that could be adjusted with an insert to control the distance between them. After reviewing my options, I decided to design one from scratch. To prevent warping, I rounded off the edges and made sure it's printable without any supports. It's best to use a 100% infill for maximum stability. The main strength comes from m3 screws, but adding washers on top and bottom is also recommended - go with 30mm or longer screws if your insert is really thick.
