A simple yet effective accessory for outdoor enthusiasts is a custom-made lanyard designed specifically for 8mm neodymium disc magnets, widely available at home improvement stores like Lowe's and Home Depot. To create this handy tool, you'll need a reliable adhesive (cyanoacrylate or epoxy) and some fine-grit sandpaper (80-100 grit) to roughen the surface of the magnet. I use mine to carry my fishing line trimmers and hook removal pliers on my life vest for easy access when needed.
