Tooth replicas are created by duplicating facial and lingual contours precisely. Occlusal surfaces and contacts on the replicas are duplicated accurately. Proximal contacts and embrasure spaces between adjacent teeth are also replicated carefully. The overall tooth anatomy is reproduced realistically in the replica. Wax surfaces on the replicas must be smooth to achieve a natural look.
