This is a custom deck with an 8-foot by 18-foot fuel tank that provides support for a deck placed on top of the switch machine's slide. The deck and fuel tank combination is designed to be pushed back and forth, which activates the DPST slide switch underneath it. Additionally, this motion throws the turnout via a control wire connected to the switch. Furthermore, the DPST switch can also reverse the polarity of the frog.
