8 Channels vacuum aspirator
thingiverse
LABWARE: This is an 8 channel adapter meant for attachment to a vacuum pump - a very handy tool if you need to remove solutions from 8 wells simultaneously on a 96 well plate. I designed this with simplicity in mind and ease of assembly. If you're familiar with this labware, you'll notice there's no spring; I believe this makes it easier to assemble. All you have to do is add a screw as indicated. You can print this using the file that includes all the pieces or the individual files. The reason I included single files is because thing2 undergoes most of the stress during use: some of you may choose to print it with higher infill compared to the other parts. At the moment, I'm printing in PLA at 50% infill, but I haven't tested the aspirator for an extended period yet. Print Settings Printer: vertex3dprinter.eu Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 40 Post-Printing assembly put the parts together as in the figure, and add a screw as indicated (M3) to secure thing1 on thing3. thing 4 must be inserted firmly (no glue needed) into thing2.
