I was in desperate need of a reliable 12V battery pack for my LED-strip Arduino project, but as a beginner to both 3D printing and model design, I had no idea where to start. Luckily, I stumbled upon plenty of tutorials online that walked me through the process, so I decided to take the plunge and create my very own model from scratch. After all, I'm eager to build things with my own two hands! So, here's my first attempt at designing an 8-AA battery pack. As for now, I've got a separate cover in the works, but it still needs some fine-tuning before it'll fit perfectly. Each end of this design features strategically placed holes for securing those pesky wires. To ensure you get that coveted 12V output, make sure to alternate the batteries when assembling them in series. And if you need to split the voltage further, don't worry - it's easy enough to tap into your Arduino and LED-strip. Here are my print settings: Printer: RepRap Printer Brand: RepRap Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 10% As for how I designed this masterpiece, I turned to TinkerCAD for inspiration - give it a try at https://www.tinkercad.com/!
