Mount the Boogie Board 8.5" LCD eWriter with confidence using this ingenious mount. I've been using a Boogie Board for a while now to keep track of important data, jot down notes about my whereabouts and reason for being out of the office, and so on. However, I've encountered a major issue - the board tends to stray from its designated spot. To make it more user-friendly (less prone to drifting), I designed a simple yet effective mount. This ingenious creation allows the board to sit at a comfortable 45-degree angle on the edge of a piece of plywood, securing it firmly in place with two small wood screws. My desk is constructed from sturdy plywood that's 25mm thick, but I've included a SketchUp file for easy modification if needed. The mount's design requires some minor adjustments depending on your printer's capabilities. You may need to file or sand the board clips to fit perfectly, or you can modify the file for a bit more clearance. Scaling the file by 1 or 2 percent could also work, but keep in mind that it will affect the plywood mount area as well. I printed this mount using PETG, which has become my go-to material lately. However, I suspect PLA would work just as well. To achieve optimal results, I used a moderate infill of 15%, three perimeters, and three layers - just my default settings, really.
