8/12/12 Bronze Bearing Holder replacing SCS8UU (Anet A8)
thingiverse
This device is designed to replace the standard bearing blocks (SCS8UU) on the Y-axis of the Anet A8. Since the SCS8UU is commonly used, this device should be compatible with various other printers or even the X-axis, given its identical distance from the top to the center of the rod. This device is intended for use with sintered bronze bearings 8/12/12 (inner diameter/outer diameter/length), which are readily available online. To mount this device to the heatbed holder, M4 screws are required. Depending on the thickness of the heatbed holder used, M4x20 or M4x24 screws might be the ideal choice. If the sintered bronze bearing does not fit tightly in this bearing holder, small holes can be used to secure the bearing in place, for example by using a bent paperclip (fortunately, this has never been necessary).
