Experimental archaeologist Caroline Jeffra creates a pot using the wheel-throwing technique, showcasing her craft. Archaeologist Kelly Papastergiou uses the DAVID SLS-3 structured light scanner to capture three-dimensional images of the pot. The native DAVID-camera records its texture, resulting in exceptional detail. The original fusion resolution is an impressive 0.0344mm, and the exported OBJ file weighs in at a substantial 0.99GB with 6837525 vertices. To make it more suitable for online publication, the file was reduced to 507346 vertices, bringing the size down to a manageable 145MB.
