They all know what Fungids are. Riding them looks like fun and they want in. To counter armed resistance and barricaded walls, Fungarius has been able to convince Vorghutog to breathe a new form of spore into the most exquisite dead trees. It takes nary a week to grow a Fungid - a sort of mushroom with legs, a bad attitude, and a massive, tooth-filled maw - from these spores as long as they get a bit of a stern talking to every day. Not long after their first appearance,  the Gobnots found ways to domesticate these creatures, and it was only a matter of time until one was daring enough to sit on one of their shroom caps and hold on for dear life as the toothed fungus began running in circles. Eventually, the Gobnot managed to stay in control as a rider and taught others. Equipped with lances of tall Ironshrooms, Fungid riders are the shock “cavalry” of Funngarius’ new horde.
