This was modelled from a proper drawing for a change, as found in the Darjeeling Wagons plan book by the DHRS. My first attempt was the fully open version but printed in the standard black resin this didn’t survive being removed from the supports so I added the infill to the inner side. This hasn’t fallen apart so far! Out of curiosity I tried the open version again with the “Grey Pro” resin, this was surprisingly more resilient and hasn’t fallen apart yet either. My first coach has one bogie of each material. Having done all this the design of the Darjeeling coach chassis means you can hardly see the bogies anyway! There are several types of stretcher modelled. I could have set the bearing into the back of the closed version but didn’t, so the stretcher is 1mm longer. The 16-5 versions should take standard 00 axles but I’m not sure if these will be too wide to fit the chassis properly. I shorten my axles by 2.5mm to fit the “14” versions. Having fitted the first versions of the bogies to the chassis I then found that because the bogies are so well hidden it’s very hard to align the wheels with the rails so added the guides so that they can be aligned by the couplings. The holes are sized for M2 tap/clearance as appropriate; you could of course glue them together.
