The sun gear is part of the revigneaux gearset in Mercedes' 7G-Tronic automatic transmission. Using measurements from a broken transmission, I created an accurate 3D model of this component. The challenge was in visualizing internal parts since it cannot be disassembled; however, the final result is quite impressive. Don't forget to leave a comment and like!
