A 2-stage gearbox is designed for an FRC intake system, featuring a 1st stage with a 12:40 ratio using 32DP and a 2nd stage with a 24:36 ratio utilizing 20DP, resulting in an overall 5:1 ratio. This setup optimizes performance for a 2" wheel, reaching speeds of up to 23ft/s at 75% free speed. Created during the 2016 off-season by Peter Salisbury for team FRC 5811.
