77 Celica Speaker Cubby 6.5" Speakers for RA29
thingiverse
Since someone had already tampered with the original speaker cubbies in my 1977 Celica, I took matters into my own hands and designed brand new ones from scratch. This is version eleven, and I finally figured out a way to keep it tight on the bottom edge - by adding a lip, which looks fantastic when installed. First generation Celica enthusiasts, RA29, RA28, RA25, TA22, and TA21 owners should be able to swap their factory 4" speakers with aftermarket 6.5" ones using these custom speaker cubbies. I printed them in PETG for now, but plan to print a set in ABS once I get my CR-10S enclosure finished. To save time, I opted for 15% infill, which seems more than sturdy enough without taking an eternity - thirty hours, to be exact.
