The ancient village of Hot Springs is situated on the shoreline of Port Moller, where the southern Bering Sea meets the Alaska Peninsula. For over a century, multiple excavation teams have thoroughly investigated this massive site. Main occupations date back to 2000 BCE and lasted until 1000 BCE, with additional periods of habitation from 100 CE to 800 CE.
