Barb for a composite Lesiter System. Hot Springs Village, Port Moller, Alaska CAT# 77-47-T177 Okada excavations HHT, Level 5B. Hot Springs 1B. 1600-1300 BCE. The massive village at Hot Springs is situated on the shore of Port Moller, directly on the southern Bering Sea's Alaska Peninsula side. Over a century, various teams have conducted multiple digs here. The primary periods of occupation span from 2000 BCE to 1000 BCE and then again from 100 CE to 800 CE. The extensive array of artifacts gathered at Hot Springs is a direct result of thorough research funded by grants NSF 0137756, NSF 1204020, NSF 1139266, and NSF 1321411. H. Maschner spearheaded this investigation as the Principal Investigator. Initial digitizing work was performed at Id. St. Univ.'s IVL. Subsequent processing was completed by Global Digital Heritage.
