Prismatic Blade. Hot Springs Village, Port Moller, Alaska CAT# 77-47-T141 Okada excavations HHT, Level 5B. Hot Springs 1B. 1600-1300 BCE. The Hot Springs site stands out as a massive village situated on the shore of Port Moller, along the southern Bering Sea shoreline in Alaska. For over a century, various teams have conducted extensive excavations at this site. Primary occupations date back to between 2000 BCE and 1000 BCE, and again from 100 CE to 800 CE. The Hot Springs artifacts are showcased as a direct result of research carried out under grants NSF 0137756, NSF 1204020, NSF 1139266, and NSF 1321411. H. Maschner serves as Principal Investigator, overseeing the project. The initial digitizing work was completed at the IVL located within Idaho State University's campus. Further processing took place at Global Digital Heritage facilities.
