Biface or End Blade. Hot Springs Village, Port Moller, Alaska CAT# 77-47-T125 Okada excavations HHT, Level 5B. Hot Springs 1B. 1600-1300 BCE. The Hot Springs site stands out as a massive village located on the shore of Port Moller, situated on the southern Bering Sea's Alaska Peninsula side. Over the last century, several teams have conducted extensive excavations at this site. The main occupation periods date back to 2000 BCE-1000 BCE, and from 100 CE to 800 CE. The Hot Springs artifacts were uncovered as a result of thorough research conducted under grants NSF 0137756, NSF 1204020, NSF 1139266, and NSF 1321411. H. Maschner served as the Principal Investigator who led this project. The original digitizing work was completed at the IVL located at Idaho State University. Subsequent processing was carried out at Global Digital Heritage.
