Hot Springs 1B/A. 2000-1300 BCE The massive village of Hot Springs sits on the shore of Port Moller, directly opposite the southern Bering Sea's rugged coastline. Over a century, various teams have meticulously excavated this site, unearthing its secrets layer by layer. Two primary occupation periods stand out: one spanning 2000 BCE to 1000 BCE, and another from 100 CE to 800 CE. Hot Springs artifacts are the direct result of thorough research conducted under grants NSF 0137756, NSF 1204020, NSF 1139266, and NSF 1321411. H. Maschner takes pride as Principal Investigator. Original digitization efforts were carried out at the IVL in Idaho State University. Further processing was completed by Global Digital Heritage's skilled team.
