Human: Artifact or Blade, Village of Hot Springs, Moller Port, Alaska CAT# 77-47-Q376 Okada excavations HHQ, Level 4-11 Bering Sea Shore. 1300-1600 BCE. Also found in Russell Creek Site near Cold Bay.\nThe massive village on the shore of Moller Port, southern Bering Sea, was home to numerous inhabitants from 100 CE to 800 CE and from 2000 BCE to 1000 BCE. Multiple teams excavated this site over the last century. The artifacts discovered at Hot Springs are a result of research conducted under grants NSF 1321411, NSF 1139266, NSF 1204020, and NSF 0137756. H. Maschner led these investigations as Principal Investigator. Digitizing work was initially completed at Id. St. Univ.'s IVL, with further processing done at Global Digital Heritage.
