The included design is optimized to deliver the lightest weight and lowest ride height possible using the FFS Frame System. Which boots are adaptable to FFS? Any boot with a flat mounting base: most or all UFS/Salomon-compatible models. Among the easiest to adapt are Xsjados and THEM skates, which only require modifications to the soul plate. Will the provided design be the only version available for purchase? No, FFS and FFS/UFS mounts will be offered. What materials can the grind block be printed in or machined from? PLA, PETG, ABS, Nylon, Acetal/POM (Delrin) via FDM with infill of at least 70% and machined UHMW all work well; Alumide formed via SLS might also be a good idea. How is this different from/how does this improve BIG/Bake frames? Wheel size is larger and ride height is comparable, while the frame is stiffer and more maneuverable. The backslide height is shallower, the groove is wider, and the groove element can also be replaced. How do these compare to 72mm or 80mm Aeons? The backslide height is shallower than Aeon 72 (35.5mm vs 41mm) or Aeon 80 (35.5mm vs 44mm), ride height is lower, the groove is wider, and the groove element can also be replaced. There aren't any aggressive 76mm wheels -- what 76mm wheels do you recommend? The grind block is designed such that wheel bite should rarely be an issue, which makes experimenting with much softer wheels possible. 80A+ 76mm wheels are also easy to find.
