76MM 1/4" Tape Reel
thingiverse
I needed a replacement tape reel for an old 1/4" mono tape player, so I reverse-engineered the existing reel and designed a two-part take-up tape reel that snaps together securely. To use it, insert the tape into the slot on the bottom reel piece, align the tape slots with the top, and then press them firmly together. Next, rotate the top piece one-third of a turn to lock the tape in place. The accompanying DWG file, created using AutoCAD 2000 Mechanical Desktop, provides detailed design specifications for the take-up reel. Print Settings: Printer: Monoprice Mini 3D Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Layer = 0.1MM Infill: None Notes: I chose PLA material for this project to minimize warping issues.
