75mm Hydroponics Pot

75mm Hydroponics Pot

thingiverse

As my vegetable garden gradually takes shape I'm eager to explore fresh techniques and ideas. One thing I've been contemplating for some time is Hydroponics. After thoroughly researching online information, I decided a "gutter and bucket" setup would be the perfect introduction since I already have most of what I need except for net pots and float valves. The initial step was acquiring some net pots; there are plenty available from Amazon and similar websites, as well as various 3D printable designs found on Thingiverse. However, I wanted a size that matched one of my hole saws, so it was back to the drawing board - or rather Fusion 360... The model presented here is marginally under 75mm in diameter just below the rim. If you're a Fusion 360 user, you can download the archive and tweak the numbers (*MODIFY > Change Parameters*) to create any reasonable size you require.
