I fabricated and installed the Tevo Black Widow cooling ducts by admodesi: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2251893. Despite some initial reservations about his ring duct being superior to my own "fang" design, it appears to be functioning well so far. The primary issue was that the 40mm axial fan was excessively noisy. I experimented with several powerful 40x20mm fans, but they all generated more noise than I found acceptable. To address this problem, I designed an adapter allowing me to utilize a 75mmx30mm radial cooling fan like the uxcell 75mm x 30mm 24V DC Blower Cooling Fan. This fan is extremely quiet and highly efficient, producing significant airflow with minimal noise. I acquired mine from Amazon for eleven and a half dollars. My design was influenced by lorenzostanzani01's creation but features distinct improvements, including a different mounting system, internal streamlining components, better fitment of the fan, and reduced material usage. This adapter can be printed without support while still utilizing less material. The specifications and instructions for my design can be found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2819127. Given admodesi's duct contains a sophisticated splitter/diffuser just downstream of the fan, I decided to add a dome-shaped fitting to match up with his splitter/diffuser and enhance airflow efficiency. I find that adjusting the maximum fan speed in Cura to 70% or 80% and specifying maximum fan speed at layer 8 works quite well, even under conditions that would otherwise lead to thermal runaway at 100 percent. This adapter does not require support during printing but can be printed with support if desired for a cleaner exterior surface. I prefer attaching the fan to the support arm using a small tie wrap rather than a bolt. This duct adaptor appears to be versatile and could potentially connect a 75x30 radial fan to any 40mm axial fan duct. If your duct lacks structure downstream of the radial fan, you may want to remove the dome and supports inside the outlet of this adapter for optimal performance.
