737 yoke hat switch
thingiverse
The project has been on my mind for a long time, since I purchased a very solid and good ACE 737 yoke replica for my basic home cockpit. Upgrading from Saitek yoke, it was everything more and better, but for the hat switches and buttons which in their true to life form did not exist. There was however a cap on the right hand that could be removed and it is in its place that I designed a custom hat inset with a button. The wiring has been then led through the aluminum cast and through the pole towards the back, where it is attached to Arduino Leonardo. The miniature analogue joystick used comes from spare parts for Sony PSP (glued in place with a hot glue gun): https://www.ebay.com/itm/2PCS-For-Sony-2000-Replacement-3D-Analog-Joystick-Control-Stick-Button-Black/113153479366?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 The button used is https://www.ebay.com/itm/12-Lockless-Switches-6Color-Momentary-Push-Button-Switch-10mm-DS-314-ON-OFF/162440812215?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
