I'll design it if you can provide a steel tailgate clip for reference since this was done without any real measurement, just by eye. Tailgate trim clips are nowhere to be found online and you might consider yourself lucky if you have one still intact with your tailgate band in good condition. I created this part so it would replace the missing metal one on my 78 GMC restoration. This is my first print using a Prusa I3 that's freshly assembled. Print Settings Rafts: No rafts were used during printing. Supports: Minimal supports were added to ensure easy removal after printing was completed. How I Made It I designed it in Solidworks, and with the help of caliper measurements taken from an original steel part, and Repetier host software, to produce a decent model. The thickness has been increased at the edges so it fits snugly in aluminum trim and is also strengthened.
