These wheels are designed specifically for use with "economy" or "low cost" plastic gear motors and are a great fit for Mini-Sumo and small robots equipped with rubber band tyres. This version is geared towards the #84 bands and has a 70mm diameter to ensure clearance on a battery box mounted below the gearbox. Instructions This wheel was created using Creo Elements and printed on a Printrbot Simple Metal utilizing Repetier Host with Slicer. These wheels are designed to fit #84 rubber band, allowing for a 10% stretch but also able to handle multiple narrower bands if needed. It is pictured with a couple of bands layered together until our chassis gets modified. The Printrbot equipment used was provided by Tanghall Smart Tech Club in York, England.
