Replacing a 60mm CPU Fan with a 70mm One Requires an Adapter. I initially planned to replace my faulty 60mm CPU fan, but purchasing a high-quality 70mm fan turned out to be the easier option. Consequently, I needed to get an adapter that would allow me to use this larger fan in place of my old one. Fortunately, there are numerous fan adapters available on Thingiverse, but I couldn't find any designed specifically for a 60mm to 70mm conversion. Given my limited design skills, I decided to replicate the excellent design by Galane, which can be found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1759396. The FreeCAD files are included with this design for easy modification and printing.
