I designed this 12-blade fan to replace the standard five-blade fan that came with the Starmax F-5. It produces 830 grams of thrust at 630 watts using the stock Starmax F-5 motor and a 4S battery. Warning: If you operate this or any other EDF fan outside an aircraft, be sure to wear protective goggles and keep your fingers away from the intake. To balance the fan, screw M3 grub screws into the holes around the hub by trial and error. Hold the duct in your hand and spin it up slowly to feel for balance after you insert screws in different holes.
