70 Lock Pick Templates

Human: 70 3D printable lock pick templates. Use these templates to cut out steel stock for creating your own lock picks. This project began with a file I found on lockpicking101.com. Cutting out each template from paper was an option, but I would rather draw the outline directly onto the metal. So I managed to convert the original template into a 3D file and export it in groups of about 15 templates, with five separate files. The original JPG can be found here: http://www.lockpicking101.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=17326&hilit=template&start-146 Credit for the original JPG goes to Lockpicking101.com user Alan5510301 Print at a .1 layer height, with 1 perimeter and no brim (we want to preserve the outline of the pick). Once printed, clean up the edge of the template with a file for about 20 seconds so it's sharp. Lay the template on your stock and draw the outline with your choice of marker. Then start grinding. I find diamond bits work best. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PICK WITH THESE, THEY WILL BREAK OFF IN YOUR LOCK! (although if you do, let me know how it goes!)
