70 cm Lindenblad Antenna
thingiverse
This is a high-performance TRX antenna designed for the 70 cm band, utilizing the innovative design principles laid out by Anthony Monteiro (AA2TX), an accomplished radio enthusiast who shares his expertise on various satellite-related platforms, including AMSAT. To bring this extraordinary antenna to life, you will need a carefully selected set of materials. First and foremost, ensure that you have 4 identical pieces of electrical plastic pipe measuring 16×1 in diameter and precisely 95,25mm in length. These will form the foundational structure of your Lindenblad TRX antenna. In addition, you'll require 4 rods made from aluminum with a thickness of 4mm and a total length of 298,45mm. These aluminum rods will serve as critical support elements for your antenna's complex configuration. The next crucial components to assemble are two pieces of aluminum tube measuring 20×1 in diameter and precisely 154mm in length. These tubes will provide additional stability and help secure the various sections of your Lindenblad TRX antenna together. For fastening these components, you'll need a set of Printparts designed specifically for this project. Also required are two M3x30 bolts with corresponding nuts to securely attach all parts of the antenna system. Two sheet metal screws will also be necessary for final assembly. To transmit signals efficiently, a RG58 koax cable is indispensable for this design. Completing your Lindenblad TRX antenna will also require a BNC connector to secure the koax cable in place. Finally, you'll need two ferrite cores, essential components for maintaining signal quality and ensuring smooth data transfer.
