The sturdy, conventional trailer features a 7° tilt angle and an automated setup process utilizing rear wheels or pedal cranking in the event of drivetrain failure. Mechanical chocks automatically fasten the front tire. Surprisingly, the trailer's back doesn't protrude past the trailed car's rear bumper, and when configured for a tighter setup, it can fit through a 7-ft-wide garage door. The tilting mechanism uses recycled rubber tracks from an excavator (230x72x42) and synchronizing sprockets to activate the hinged rear frame. Upon loading completion, the dangling rubber tracks can be swiveled sideways as mudguards or removed for storage. This open trailer has lightweight components that can be easily dismantled and stored away. It is multipurpose-friendly, allowing the owner to switch from a fixed axle-length frame to a telescoping one if desired. The absence of motors, expensive hydraulic or pneumatic actuators, or winch systems keeps the trailer lightweight and affordable. Despite this, the straight axle design is sturdy, eliminating the need for reinforcing brackets found in independent and cantilevered axle designs. A lighter setup contributes to reduced fishtailing danger and allows for consideration of an added brake system with less required braking power. The trailer can also be dismantled and reassembled into various garage/shop items, such as a mechanic creeper, stool, shop table, folding aluminum stair, front and rear motorcycle chocks, and a bed on wheels. Compared to other trailers, this one has several advantages: it connects directly to the car frame with minimal suspension, doesn't require airbags or hydraulic/electric drive systems, uses a conventional tilt platform with a sturdy straight axle, can accommodate various car dimensions with its adjustable tire-positioning parameters, and can be dismantled for reuse as other garage/shop items. Additionally, maintenance can be done as if the car is conventionally jacked up, and no power tools are required. Updated files will soon be available.
