7 Strand Friendship Bracelet Maker

My niece created something similar using cardboard, but it was difficult to use and kept falling apart. I crafted three of these, and they work flawlessly. They make excellent gifts for birthday parties. They are simple to operate: Tie one end of each strand of string into a knot. Feed the untied ends of all strings up from the bottom (the top features a curved hole, while the bottom is flat). It may be beneficial to secure the ends with tape to facilitate this process. I typically just twist them together and it works smoothly. Pull out each strand and draw it down into its own separate notch. One notch should remain open. Select a direction (clockwise or counterclockwise), skip two strands, and take the third. Move it to the open notch. Continue skipping two strands and taking the third while moving in the same direction. For optimal results, maintain tension on the strings as the knot/bracelet emerges from the bottom. Every few turns around, you may need to twist each strand before placing it in a notch; this will depend on the manufacturing direction of the string versus your chosen direction.
