7-inch tablet holder
thingiverse
A tablet holder, custom-crafted for my "Prestigio Multipad 7.0 HD+" tablet (standard Android tablet). Customizing it to other sizes should be relatively straightforward. This design prints cleanly without supports, but adhesion assistance (brim/raft) might be necessary due to the extended footprint. I recommend printing in PLA rather than ABS. Print Settings Printer: Hictop Prusa Mendel i3 clone Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 20% Notes: Printing with a brim in ABS failed due to lifting. Printing with a brim in PLA seems effective. This model should be able to print cleanly without supports and should fit within a standard Hictop Prusa i3 clone or similar. A brim or other adhesion solution is recommended due to the large footprint. How I Designed It Designed in SketchUp. Most techniques used are probably self-explanatory; the Offset tool was utilized to hollow out the side support arches.
