Create a 7-inch sunshade for LED/LCD/TFT monitor FPV setups using a Replicator 2 printer. Print the shade in high quality, as printing on fast settings may result in stringy inside faces. If necessary, apply PVA to bond the stringiness together afterwards. Alternatively, spray paint the finished product for a polished look. Use PLA instead of ABS for printing. Check out the Mk2 version - it's thinner, simpler, and quicker to build. Print at High Quality with 15% fill, Shells 3, and Layer 0.10. If you encounter banding on the first layer, don't worry as it won't affect the final result. Assemble the shroud by super-gluing the beveled faces together. Attach Velcro strips to both the monitor frame and the printed shade for secure attachment. Share your creations, even if they're not perfect at first!
